Miss Buck was born in Fairview, Alberta. She graduated from Fairview High School in 2000 and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph in 2003.
Miss Buck received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2006 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2007.
Miss Buck completed her articles at Venture Law Group in Edmonton, Alberta, and joined the firm as an associate lawyer thereafter. Miss Buck’s practice at Venture Law Group was focused in the areas of real estate, wills and estates and corporate law for a period of one year.
While at Venture Law Group, Miss Buck acted as legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity – Edmonton Chapter, at which time she had the opportunity to not only develop a new system of encumbrance registration for the organization, but also was able to assist in the organization of the annual Law Build.
In September 2008 Miss Buck took a break from the practice of law and began backpacking around Europe and Australia. During this time she lived and worked in Melbourne, Australia at the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.
Miss Buck joined Vickers Hendrix LLP in summer 2010 and her practice is primarily limited to the areas of litigation, commercial and residential real estate and foreclosures for National Banks, Trust Companies, Mortgage Investment Corporations and Private Lenders.
Miss Buck is a member in good standing of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
